This guide is to give some info on the type of bets and how to place them with your bookie. I hope it helps but if you have any confusion get in touch via our Contact page for further help.

For our main bets BTTS and Under/Over 2.5 goal you should find these are readily available at all bookies.

For Asian Handicap bets please visit here for best bookies for Asian Handicap bets. Not all bookies feature asian handicap, which in my opinion is because they lose money on them.

Different Bet Types Used By Goal King

1. Both Teams to Score (BTTS) No

This type of bet means that we expect both teams to not score in any given game. The only results that would result in a winning bet would be 0-0 1-0 or 0-1.

2. Both Teams to Score (BTTS) YES

This type of bet means that we expect both teams to score in any given game. This would mean both home and away teams need to score, e.g. 1-1 or 2-1 or 5-1 or 1-3 would all be winning bets.

3. Under 2.5 Goals

As you are probably aware its impossible for .5 goals to be scored so this simply means than no more than 2 goals can be scored in the game. A winning bet would be either 0-0, 1-1, 2-0, 0-2, 1-0 or 0-1

4. Over 2.5 Goals

A winning bet for this type is basically any score line not included in the above example, which is any game with 3 or more goals in it. This would include scorelines such as 2-1, 3-1, 5-0 etc.

5. Asian Handicap

A very lucrative type of bet, but also one which we find is the one members are least familiar with. Generally the type of Asian Handicap bets we will cover in Goal King will be -1, -1.5, -2 and -2.5.

Example we might bet AH -1 Man Utd to WIN. This means we think Man Utd will win by 1 or more goals. If we look at the table we can see that to win this bet Man Utd must win by a 2 goal margin (e.g. 2-0, 3-1 or 4-2) If they win by one goal (e.g. 1-0 or 2-1) the bet doesn't win but it doesn't lose either instead the stake is refunded. To lose our stake the bet must draw (e.g. 0-0 or 1-1) or lose (e.g. 0-1, 0-2).

The rules are slightly different for -1.5 AH bets. For these as the table confirms there is no stake refund only win or lose. to win this bet we must win by 2 goals (this is the same as a -1 AH bet). The difference is that winning by 1 goal does not result in a stake refund, the bet simply loses.

For a -2 Asian Handicap bet, we need to win by 3 goals, if we win by 2 its a stake refund.

For -2.5 we need to win by 3 goals, but there is no stake refund.

6. Combi result and btts bets

This type of bet is similar to Both Teams to Score but you must also get the result correct as well. E.g Man U vs Chelsea BTTS YES and Man U to win. Means Man Utd must win and both teams must score, e.g. 2-1 to Man Utd. If Man Utd win 2-0 the bet loses. If its 1-1 the bet also loses.

These bets will be usually listed at your bookie and may be listed as "Match Odds and Both Teams to Score" or "Result / Both Teams To Score"
